Legislator Appreciates Submission of Two Draft Bylaws by Acting Governor

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD), appreciated the steps taken by the executive who submitted two draft bylaws on the Management of Regional Property and Changes in the Legal Form of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya to become a Regional Company.

Those two draft bylaws were received by Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi from Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, during the DPRD Plenary Meeting, Thursday (10/27).
DPRD Vice Chairman, Khoirudin revealed that the two draft bylaws are very vital to discuss as it is related to efforts to increase local revenue (PAD) and food security and community welfare.

draft bylaws will be approved as bylaws as soon as possible," he hoped.He explained that the change in the legal entity of Tjipinang Jaya Food Station from a PT to a Regional Company could strengthen food security in Jakarta, as there is already legal protection, and Tjipinang Jaya will move more freely, as well as be more innovative and creative.
While with the Regional Property Management Regulation, regional asset services will be managed under one door, thus they can provide good quality public services, managed professionally, with transparency, efficiency, accountability, and value certainty.
"I'm optimistic that these two bylaws can be completed before the end of the year considering that they are very important," he stressed.
